Meet Tanvi
Dr. Tanvi Gandhi, ND, L.Ac. is a Naturopathic Physician, and Licensed Acupuncturist in CT and NY. Her background is in Microbiology, Immunology, and Genetics from UCLA, and did her research internship at the National Institutes of Health. She was awarded “Best Student Doctor- Who is Calm in Crises Award during her medical school. She is the founder of Shiva-Shakti Acupuncture and Ayurveda LLC. She considers herself a bridge between the ancient healing wisdom and modern integrative medicine and a space holder for her patient’s narrative to unfold, creating an opening, clearing, and allowing what needs to unwind, release. She is passionate about empowering her patients with tools for self-healing, self-awareness, and deep restoration through her individual and group facilitations throughout Fairfield County, CT and the greater New York City area. She has her private practice in Stamford. She is the Wellness Consultant for Transitional Living Program and offers Mindfulness in Outpatient and Inpatient groups at Silver Hill Hospital. She has done some professional training in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University and a fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry through IPI institute at University of Colorado Medicine. She has done extensive research during her naturopathic thesis to explore the healing effects Sound and Meditation and offers classes at Pause and Purpose Studio in Westport.
